year-long Course: Explorations in Stillness: The In-Depth Teachings of Non-Dual Meditation

Explorations in Stillness: The In-Depth Teachings of Non-Dual Meditation

February 26, 2026 through February 25, 2027

Online via Zoom

This yearlong program is for those who want to give themselves the generous gift of meditation: a practice that replenishes the body, steadies the mind, and awakens the heart to the timeless ground of stillness, peace and unbreakable well-being.

In this twelve-session immersive series, you are invited to step into a year of deep study and living practice. You’ll explore how to interweave the enduring spiritual insights of nondual meditation with the latest discoveries of neuroscience and psychology. Through guided practices, experiential self-inquiry, and supportive dialogue with a like-hearted community, you’ll feel these teachings come alive within you as you learn to:

  • Understand the underlying structure and stages of meditation. Learn to navigate them as living gateways into your Essential Nature: Pure presence, Being, Awareness, the Mystery.

  • Break free from compulsive thinking and emotional reactivity. Meet each moment feeling fully alive, authentic, and courageous.

  • Integrate the body, mind, and senses into a harmonious whole. Allow your entire being to move in unity with life attuned to a quiet joy within.

  • Rest in non-conceptual awareness beyond the sense of separateness. Discover the peace, joy, and inherent freedom that emerge when you live as Essential Nature itself—awake, unwavering, and intimately connected with all that is.

  • Live from the peace that “passeth all understanding,” unshaken by life’s changes. Anchor in the natural harmony of your own Being, you’ll experience daily life with renewed delight, wonder, and astonishment.

Research now confirms what the great wisdom traditions have always known — that meditation enhances clarity, resilience, emotional balance, and joy. Yet its deepest promise lies beyond improvement: as it opens the door to remembering your Essential Nature, which is always whole, unbroken, ever-present, and free of suffering.

Whether you are beginning your meditation journey or deepening a long-standing practice, these sessions invite you to rest back into the ever-present stillness of being, the quiet joy that reveals itself as your natural state.

Richard Miller, PhD, founder of and senior consultant to the iRest Institute, and internationally recognized meditation teacher and researcher, will guide you through this illuminating process. Drawing from the Yoga, Advaitic, Śaivite, Taoist, Buddhist, Mahayana, Dzogchen, Zen, and Judeo-Christian contemplative traditions — and informed by decades of research on meditation’s healing and awakening potential — Richard distills the essence of practice into an easeful, life-giving way of being.

Recordings: Available 24 hours after the close of each session. All recordings available until February 25, 2028.
